After having examined a little the afflictions of rational soul in the previous post, we can move to the afflictions linked with sexuality, which are grouped in traditional astrology under the file “afflictions of the sensitive soul.”
Andrea Argoli gives a list of aphorisms, very easy to check, to which I added two sample charts, in order to verify their effectiveness.
Mars with Venus in the 4th, 7th and 10th, without any aspect from Jupiter, gives immoderate lust.
Mercury, Venus and Saturn in Venus’ dignities in 7th and 10th.
Venus in a masculine sign with Mars, or its malefic ray.
Venus is Mars’ house and Mars in Venus’ house.
Venus in its dignities, with Mars ray.
Venus in Leo with an aspect from Mars; even if Venus whatever is, in square or in opposition of Mars, produces fires (of passions).1
ANDREA ARGOLI
A couple of examples to show the point:
The seducer par excellence.
Venus and Mars are together in Venus exaltation, Mars triplicity - Venus is in Mars term too. Saturn beholds them from its domicile, and Mercury is mingled, and makes the public scandal.
And the sexy bomb.
Venus in Mars sign and Mars in Venus one and Saturn beholds Mars. At the MC, not far from Venus we find the stars of Aries muzzle and “then, if the star of Venus is in one of these enigmatic signs; Aries, Taurus, Leo and Capricorn, and it is beheld by Mars or by Saturn when it is in the limbs or in the places of the signs that, as we explained before, excite and provoke passions, a person who is born in this situation is overwhelmed by the filthiest, the most shameless and indecent transports.”2
Famous for his addiction from sex, so he stated, if we want to believe him.
Venus and Mars are in Venus sign, beheld by Saturn, which they happily receive, being Libra the sign of Saturn exaltation.

Thanks…
Its just that in Jyotish they sometimes use rays and I think someone uses the term in Modern Astrology as well.
