June 4, 2009

This morning I tried to renew my subscription to Angelicus Merlin list, from which I was deleted almost an year ago. Which was my fault and mistake? That I told in public that Anton Grigoryev stole my money and betrayed a 4 years friendship.

Argoli, the fox and the internet

Traditional astro-lists in the net are a precious source of  knowledge (and friendship), and I’d like to mention two different threads worthy to inquire about and mix a little how I like to do very often. The first one appeared in The Real Astrology and it was about an Italian translation of two important works of [...]

A while ago I had the opportunity of visiting in Rome a true  factory of perfumes of antiquity with its products: the factory of Pyrgos in the southern part of the island of Cyprus. The myth tells us about Venus, the goddess of beauty and love: when she arose from the foam of the sea, the [...]

Stade on Fixed stars

Fixed stars have a prominent part in traditional astrology: Ptolemy in the first book of  Tetrabiblos lists them without giving any meaning, but we have several alternative sources for them, Manilius and Firmicus in the Latin world,  Anonymous of 379 and two chapters from Liber Hermetis  in the late Antiquity, and in the Middle Age and [...]

PUBLISHED IN LINGUAGGIO ASTRALE N. 150 - SPRING 2008 In these days we are celebrating the birthday of Rome, which according the tradition was founded by Romulus on the 21st April  753 bC. This tradition is very old and  derives from the city’s birthchart. Still everything is not so easy as it seems.

Physiognomy and planets

The shape of the body in all living beings depends on the temperament. Without having the birthchart we should easily recognise different temperaments, and on the other hand the assessment of the temperament from a chart should be in agreement with the shape of the body, at least in my opinion Even if now [...]

Some personal notes

A THIEF called ANTON GRIGORYEV Caesar divorced Pompeia at once, but when he was summoned to testify at the trial, he said he knew nothing about the matters with which Clodius was charged.  His statement appeared strange, and the prosecutor therefore asked, “Why, then, didst thou divorce thy wife?” “Because,” said Caesar, “I thought my wife [...]
